I’m not saying that my job as a social media manager is difficult, but the “expertise” is in knowing how to apply social media practices to different areas of an industry as well as working with a variety of people to execute a plan. Just because you follow people on Twitter and Tumblr does not make you an “expert.” Choose what you call yourself carefully.
